Hybrid
50% Sativa /50% Indica
THC: 17%, CBN: 1%
This strain is a fairly basic member of the OG Kush family, with genes that doubtless descend from that legendary California original. But almost everything else about the parentage of Big Sky OG seems to be a mystery. It’s an indica-heavy hybrid, but the precise ratio of sativa to indica is unclear. THC levels are modestly strong, roughly 17% in some tests. That means an effective body high, with calming effects, euphoria, mood improvement, and sleepiness. These traits make Big Sky OG an effective option for treating anxiety, depression, and insomnia. But it probably shouldn’t be used to treat seizures, are there’s no evidence to suggest CBD content is very high. Data on negative effects are hard to come by, but it’s probably safe to conclude that they include dry eyes and cottonmouth. This strain smells and tastes of citrus and Skunk, while it has a fluffy appearance with bright green and amber hues. Big Sky OG may sell at a handful of California dispensaries, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area, and its name suggests it has a place in Montana, but otherwise it’s very hard to find.
