Canna-Bath Salts

THC and/or CBD-infused bath salts are more than a way to immerse yourself, literally, in your favorite herb. Once absorbed, the cannabinoids influence the CB2 receptors in your skin, which in turn stimulate the endocannabinoid system to offer real health benefits.

Soaking in a warm tub filled with cannabis bath salts can relax the mind as well as the body. Stress levels drop, muscles relax, and pain can be treated at the source. Topicals can also reduce inflammation to ease allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, and arthritis for some patients.

Long baths in cannabis-infused water can also increase blood flow and hydrate the skin. This can make you look younger and help with a variety of skin conditions including eczema, dandruff, and psoriasis. It can also ease menstrual cramps and headaches.

Ingredients:

2-3 cups Epsom salts
2.5 teaspoons Cannabis oil
4-6 drops Essential oils (optional)

How it’s done:

1. Add 1 cup of Epsom salts to a glass jar.

2. Add 14g of cannabis oil to the jar and mix well.

3. Repeat until the salts are evenly coated, but not wet.

4. If desired, add a few drops of essential oils to the mix to change the fragrance. Popular choices include lavender, orange, and peppermint.

5. Allow the mix to settle for an hour or two before using.

6. Use .5 cup to 1 cup per bath and soak for at least 20 minutes to get the full benefits.
